China Completes High-speed Interactive Broadband Network Trials

China has completed large-scale trials of a new high-speed interactive broadband network named 3TNet, which integrates telecommunications, Internet, radio and television, as well as VoD (Video on Demand) services. The 3TNet project, carried out in the Yangtze River Delta by China's Ministry of Science and Technology, promises interactive broadband and multimedia services at a transmission speed of 41 megabits per second.
